My Why

My Father grew up in a large family with very little money.  When he graduated from high school, he was informed he needed to move out as he was officially a grown up in his parents’ eyes.  He was 17, working multiple jobs and living off of ketchup and bread sandwiches, renting a room, trying to figure out what his future would be.  Every day was a struggle.   The concept of going to college was not real in the world he grew up in. How could he ever afford it?

My Father Joined the US Navy when he was 17.

When I asked him about that time in his life he remarked, “Jenny it was great.  I had a warm bed to sleep in and 3 meals a day.” He saw parts of the world he could have only dreamed of, had the money to learn how to fly and was part of the excitement of the Apollo mission and retrieving the capsules from the ocean.   After serving my father used the GI bill to get through both college and law school.

My Father’s service in the US Military is what set up my sisters and I for a life filled with opportunities.  His time in the Navy changed the financial trajectory for both himself as well as future generations. That is the thing about the military I think a lot of people miss.  It is not just about the individual but also their family and the benefits and the world that opens up for them both immediately and generations later.

For my part I am dedicated to disrupting in the VA space as much as possible to help improve the outcome for Veterans and their loved ones.

Shining a light on what is good and right but also shining a light on what is bad and wrong.

I have a voice and my father taught me to never be afraid to use it.

Every day my team and I have the best job in the world.  We talk with veterans and their loved ones and help them plan their path to home.  Whether it is their first house or their 10th I am honored to be part of every Veterans journey home.

Thank you for trusting us to get you home,

- Jen

Only 24%* of Qualified Veterans Use Their VA Loan Benefit

Why do so few Veterans choose to use their VA loan benefit? After many years of educating on VA home loans,  I hear the same thing time and time again, "I had no idea I could do that with a VA loan."

There is a lack of education about VA home loans and it is not just the Veterans missing out on the education.  The real estate industry as a whole is not educated on how VA loans work or their benefits.

We Can Change That

Education and awareness are the keys to making sure every Veteran knows and understands their VA home loan benefit.

This course is free for EVERYONE so share it and let's make sure every Veteran, real estate agent and mortgage lender understands the opportunity of the VA home loan benefit.

If you have any suggestions for me to improve this course let me know. I want to get this info out there for everyone  [email protected]
